League Explainer
Villa Aquatic provides a recreational swim team for swim development and summer fun! We are part of the Northern Virginia Swim League (NVSL) for our competitive meets (Saturday mornings), and the Fairfax Developmental League (FDL) for our friendly meets (Monday evenings).
NVSL: NVSL consists of 102 pools. Villa will be in Division 9 (of 17 divisions), with Hollin Meadows, Arlington Forest, Mansion House, Lakevale Estates and Kings Ridge. More league information can be found at www.mynvsl.com.
FDL: Villa Swims with Country Club Hills, Mantua, Mosby Woods and Fair Oaks.

2026 Registration
There are two team options:
- Swim Team is generally for swimmers between 5 and 18.
- Mini Gorillas is generally for swimmers from 4 - 8. These swimmers feel safe in the water, and can ideally swim half a lap. They will be supported by the head coaches and junior coaches in the lanes; safety is the highest priority.
Note that your child’s age is determined by his/her age on June 1st.
Registration for each child includes a team 2026 t-shirt if registration is completed by June 1.
